Proportional Detective

About this app

Students play a detective solving ten real-world number cases (gas prices, recipes, t-shirt costs, delivery fees), deciding whether each situation shows a proportional relationship by clicking or pressing P for "Proportional" or N for "Not Proportional." A checklist reminds them of the rules (constant ratio, passes through zero, y = kx), clues and skips are available, and each answer earns a "Case Solved" stamp, a running score out of 10, and streak badges. It suits Algebra 1 students reviewing proportional reasoning, works well as a short independent round, and can be played with mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts.
